Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing is required.
• Unencumbered Mississippi RN license.
• Criminal background check clearance.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach courses assigned.
• Adhere to class and clinical schedules.
• Develop and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, calendars, etc. for each course taught.
• Communicate concerns to course, clinical, and/or program coordinators.
• Follow policies of the clinical site, the University, the College of Nursing and Health Professions, and the School of Professional Nursing Practice.
• Submit course specific documentation as scheduled.
• Communicate course, clinical, and/or program requirements to students.
• Maintain office hours to support students including advisement and exam review.
• Collaborate with the course coordinator to plan and evaluate each course.
• Attend scheduled meetings related to course, clinical, program, school, college, and university.
• Participate in service opportunities on and off campus.
• Participate in shared governance of the university.
