Job summary

Evernorth Workplace Care in Clearwater, FL is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary care in a workplace-based setting. You will provide episodic care, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with onsite staff, with potential for travel medicine and wellness initiatives.

Qualified candidates hold an NP license in the relevant state, DEA prescriptive authority, EPIC experience is a plus, and you can practice independently.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified NP program.
• Active and unrestricted NP license in respective state.
• DEA licensure and prescriptive authority.
• Minimum of 2+ years NP experience in internal medicine or family practice.
• Electronic Health Record experience (EPIC) is a plus.
• BLS certification and ability to maintain.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Primary Care treatment in a Workplace-based setting.
• Episodic care (low acuity Urgent Care).
• Extended Episodic Acute Care for illnesses/injuries with limited chronicity.
• Chronic Disease Management education and co-management with outside PCPs.
• Oversee CLIA waived tests, dispense Rx medications, and oversee a specimen collection lab.
• Collaborate with onsite employees for biometric screening and wellness education.
• Possibility of Travel Medicine immunizations with proper training.
• Direct one-on-one health coaching to employees and refer to wellness programs.
• Partner with local HR/Benefits to improve employee health.
• Collaborate with health care team (MA, LPN, etc.).
