Allegheny Health Network seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide specialty and critical care services in physician offices and non-acute settings, focusing on chronic health conditions with CRNP scope and privileging requirements.

2 days a week, 10-hour shifts, 07:00-17:30, Monday–Friday; no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call. Prescriptive authority within the state; EMR documentation for accurate coding and billing; collaboration with attending physicians is essential.

Competenze

• Master's degree MSN from the practicing State Board of Nursing Approved Master's Program.
• National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners through an accredited association.
• Practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.

Mansioni

• Provides appropriate patient care including recording medical history and physical assessment, developing therapeutic care plan, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting results, discharge planning and documenting in EMR.
• Communicates with attending physician regarding plan of care and participates in clinical decision making.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies to determine and implement treatment plans.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education based on age, culture and willingness to learn, including meds and prevention.
• Ensures timely EMR documentation to support accurate medical coding and reporting.
• Maintains ongoing professional education and participates in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
