Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Scranton is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic. You will prescribe medications, document care, and collaborate with staff to provide holistic treatment and referrals.

The role includes injections as part of treatment. We value experienced NPs with an active license and DEA registration, and credentials for Medicaid/Medicare.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with an active, unrestricted licensure in the state of practice.
• Primary specialty in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice or Psychiatry.
• DEA Certificate of Registration with ability to schedule 2, 2N, 3, 4, 5.
• Must have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
• Experience in addiction medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.
• Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care including referrals.
• Will perform injections.
