AHRC New York City is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Educator to coordinate and deliver workplace education across compliance, safety and clinical trainings for medically related topics.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with at least five years of staff training experience, CPR certification, and a commitment to serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The role is in Manhattan with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse and have at least five years of staff training experience.
• Proof of RN certification, CPR competency, and driver’s license required.
• BSN preferred; AMAP Instructor experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement on-site and centralized training on compliance, safety, and service-related topics.
• Develop curricula and provide Train the Trainer instruction for AHRC staff.
• Provide instructional support to new nursing staff.
• Consult with program departments regarding educational resources.
• Provide ad hoc on-site trainings and refreshers as needed.
• Coordinate cross-department information transfer and curricula updates.
• Participate in external trainings to stay current on compliance and safety requirements.
• Contribute to special training projects as directed.
