Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. seeks a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Florida. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform diagnostic imaging to obtain viable patient images under physician guidance.

You will apply radiation safety, regulatory compliance, and quality control while supporting patient care, education, and confidentiality. The role requires state CRT and NMTCB license; ARRT preferred; BLS required; at least 1 year of PET/CT experience; on-site with 0–25% travel.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• 1 year of experience as PET Technologist preferred.
• State CRT, Nuclear Medicine Technologist license; ARRT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year of active PET/CT Technologist experience required; recent graduate considered if eligible.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform diagnostic imaging to obtain viable images.
• Ensure radiation safety, calibration, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials; maintain equipment.
• Explain procedures and safety precautions to patients and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain licensure and comply with regulatory requirements and continuing education.
• Support clinic operations and training across locations; overtime as needed.
