Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality patient care in Elizabethtown, KY. The APP will work within a physician-led team, providing autonomous care while coordinating with other health professionals to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities include procedures as needed, pediatric experience preferred, and adherence to licensure and certification requirements. Part-time schedule and no on-call duties are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and accredited APP program completed.
• National certification for the APP.
• Must maintain national certification.
• Current valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APP in Kentucky.
• BCLS required through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS as required for position.

Job Summary

Practice address:596 Westport Rd Ste 101 Elizabethtown, KY 42701

• part-time 3 days a week (8a-4p)
• approximately 16-20 patients a day both pediatric and adults
• some procedures may be required such asPap smears, cryotherapy, joint injections, mole removals
• no call or travel
• pediatric experience is highly preferred

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of accredited APP program. Terminal degree in APP field preferred.
• National certification from the appropriate national certifying agency for the particular APP.
• Must maintain national certification.
• Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability.
• Current valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APP in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• BCLS required through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS as required for position

The APP is responsible for providing direct patient care as part of the physician led team in accordance with State Law and approved Medical Staff privileges.
