Job summary

West End Collegiate Church is seeking a part-time Interim Finance Manager to oversee bookkeeping and financial operations in partnership with the Senior Minister and Central Office. The role focuses on transitioning systems to an automated workflow, ensuring compliance, and supporting payroll and benefits administration for a part-time staff.

The position operates 25 hours per week in-person at West End Church, with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

Significant experience in financial and account management in nonprofit, faith-based, or startup environments.
Experience using the Oracle NetSuite platform.
Appreciation of faith-based organizations and their civic role.
Flexible mindset for creative problem solving and finding permanent solutions.
Exceptional administrative and interpersonal skills.
Collaborative approach balancing brainstorming with responsibilities to the church and organization.

Responsibilities

Maintain general ledger and accounts using NetSuite; integrate with donations, CRM, and banking.
Ensure financial records comply with US GAAP.
Create monthly reports and forecasts for leadership and board review.
Reconcile cards, reimbursements, and program expenses.
Support budget tracking and real-time status reporting between West End and Central Office.
Prepare payments and maintain documentation for audits.
