Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (CPhT) and active license.
• Minimum 3+ years non-sterile compounding experience.
• Excellent communication with physicians and patients.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation habits.
• Experience with USP <795>/<800> training.
• Experience with pharmacy software (PK Software).
• Proven experience in pharmacy settings such as hospital, LTC, or community with compounding responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and drug regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare non-sterile compounds per master formulas.
• Maintain compounding logs, batch records, and beyond-use dating documentation.
• Perform equipment cleaning and calibration checks.
• Process prescriptions accurately in the pharmacy software system.
• Manage chemical and supply inventory; rotate stock.
• Assist patients and clinicians at the counter with professionalism.
