Advocate Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for GI/Endoscopy at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. Experience in endoscopy preferred; full-time, on-site roles with 8- to 10-hour shifts and weekly on-call requirements.

Qualifications include a nursing program completion, IL RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS/PALS as required. You will support patient care across the GI/endoscopy service line with a focus on safety and quality.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care via nursing process to ensure safety and therapeutic outcomes.
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to create a safe, effective patient environment and experience.

• 8 and 10 hour shifts
• on-call once/week; one weekend every 5-6
• Call response time 1 hour

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS required

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
