Job summary

MelroseWakefield Hospital seeks a Part-Time RN for night shift (7pm-7am) to provide direct nursing care and coordinate patient plans under physician orders in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires Massachusetts RN Licensure, BLS, and relevant department certifications; BSN preferred.

The RN will assess, plan, and evaluate care, document accurately, and support staff and patients and families throughout the care journey.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• BSN preferred but not required depending on department needs.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and maintains awareness of performance improvement initiatives.
• Conscientiously evaluates and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical practice.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments and plans.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans; delegates as appropriate.
• Guides patient education and discharge planning.
