Job summary

Corewell Health's Dearborn Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join the Emergency Center team in Dearborn, MI. This full-time position features an evening shift and a 36-hour weekly schedule, focused on patient-family centered care and adherence to nursing processes.

The RN will collaborate with the Nurse Leader, document education in the health record, and participate in ongoing professional development and specialty certifications within recommended timeframes.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing Required within 5 years if new graduate/nurse with less than one year experience.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
• BLS required upon hire/transfer from one of the following organizations - American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer. TNCC within 1 year of hire/transfer. ENPC within 15 months of hire/transfer
• Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
• Prefer RN experience. Will consider Graduate Nurses

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Incorporate patient-family centered care principles and document education in the health record.
• Partner with Nurse Leader and implement Corewell Health policies and procedures.
