Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for the Brick, NJ area. The role supports a patient population within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on improving outcomes and collaborative care.

Position requires current NJ RN license, BLS/CPR, and (preferred) ACLS/PALS certifications. BSN in progress or within 3 years is expected, with 1+ years acute care experience highly desired.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• 1+ years of acute care nursing experience highly desired.
• ED nursing experience is highly desired.
• Current New Jersey RN license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient's health or situation.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain outcomes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Implement age- and disease-specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
