Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across a variety of units in New Jersey. The RN will collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and support staff to deliver safe and effective care to diverse patient populations.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and preferably ACLS/PALS. Candidates with at least one year of acute care or ED experience and a commitment to ongoing education will thrive in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• 1+ year of acute care nursing experience desired; ED experience preferred.
• BSN in progress or willing to pursue within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based standards and policies.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team and other caregivers.
• Assess patient health status and document findings in the electronic system.
• Plan and adjust care plans, goals, and interventions with patient/family input.
• Administer medications using barcode scanning with accuracy.
• Discharge planning and transition to the next level of care with patient safety in mind.
• Maintain nursing competencies and participate in ongoing education.
