Job summary
AdventHealth Sebring is seeking a dedicated perinatal nurse to provide comprehensive assessments, plan and deliver evidence-based care for patients in the obstetrical setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and uphold safety and family-centered care.
Role requires Florida RN licensure with BLS/ACLS, and preferred obstetrical experience. The position offers a part-time night shift at our Sebring campus, with extensive professional development and patient
Qualifications
- RN license required (Florida) with BLS and ACLS certifications.
- One plus year of obstetrical/perinatal nursing preferred.
- Ability to follow hospital policies and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conducts ongoing patient assessments and develops evidence-based care plans.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed with patient safety in mind.
- Educates patients and families about conditions and care plans to support understanding.
- Ensures effective handoffs and documentation per policy and regulatory standards.
