Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role focuses on personal hygiene, nutritional needs and activities of daily living in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Part time, Day shift. Requires completion of geriatric aide certification and Iowa Nurse Aide registry listing as Active or eligible; nursing program enrollment with first semester completion is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Completion of geriatric aid certification and State of Iowa Nurse Aide registry listing as “Active” or eligible.
• Currently enrolled in an A.D.N., B.S.N., program with successful completion of first semester of A.D.N. program, OR first year completion of nursing courses in BSN OR graduate of an A.D.N., Diploma, BSN or LPN program.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse.
