Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa, is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of an RN, focusing on personal hygiene, nutrition, and activities of daily living. The position is Full Time – Days with a 12 Hour Day Shift.

Qualifications include geriatric aid certification and Iowa Nurse Aide registry active or eligible, or enrollment/completion of ADN/BSN related nursing courses; nursing assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of geriatric aid certification and Iowa Nurse Aide registry active or eligible.
• Or enrolled in ADN/BSN with first semester completion or nursing courses first year completed.
• Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and stay flexible; self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of the registered nurse, focusing on hygiene, nutrition, and activities of daily living.
• Support of daily patient needs in a 12-hour day shift environment.
