Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist in patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will record vitals, document in the EMR, and perform care tasks per policy, maintaining safety standards and quality initiatives.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, BLS/CPR certification, and preferred CNA license. Float Pool duties may apply with additional requirements and a state CNA license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ applicable PCT experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• State-issued CNA license preferred.
• CPCT/A EMT or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately records vitals and documents in the EMR.
• Perform duties and patient care per policy and procedures.
• Respond appropriately in clinical emergencies and support quality initiatives.
• Follow CDC isolation guidelines, PPE usage, hand hygiene, and safety rules.
