Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee, Kansas is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist licensed nurses in delivering quality patient care during the night shift. You will perform vital signs, document in the electronic medical record, and ensure procedures meet policy standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with 1+ year of PCT experience preferred, and BLS certification is required. CNA/CPCTA certifications are preferred. Competitive benefits start from day one.

Qualifications

• Assists in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the EMR.
• Follows policy and procedure; participates in performance improvement.
• Adheres to CDC isolation guidelines and uses PPE properly; enforces safety regulations.
