Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a Patient Care Technician for a full-time night shift in Kansas. You will assist in delivering patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and accurately record vital signs in the EMR.

Responsibilities include complying with policy, supporting quality initiatives, and responding appropriately in emergencies. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS/CPR readiness; CNA/CPCT/A/EMT preferences are noted.

Qualifications

• Assists in patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately records vital signs and documents in the EMR.
• Performs duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Functions appropriately within scope in clinical emergencies.
• Participates in practice changes from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards.
