Job summary

St. Francis Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our part-time night shift team. If you are passionate about providing compassionate resident care in a supportive environment, we'd love to meet you.

As a Night Shift CNA, you will assist with ADLs, monitoring residents, and reporting changes to the licensed nurse, while ensuring a safe, clean, and respectful living space for our residents.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Previous skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while preserving each resident's dignity and independence.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and repositioning.
• Monitor residents throughout the night and promptly report any changes in condition to the licensed nurse.
• Respond quickly and professionally to resident call lights and overnight care needs.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Document care accurately and completely according to facility policies.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
