Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Reading, PA to provide unarmed security and customer service at a utilities location. You will patrol, monitor access, and document activities while delivering professional service to employees and visitors.

The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within a dynamic team. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are preferred, with background checks and drug screening conducted as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Access control and badge management experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, visitors and drivers per site procedures and emergencies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, points of access and parking areas.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and document activity per site rules.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and coordinate with responders as needed.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports for the Allied Universal team.
