Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Foot Patrol in Jackson, TN. This part-time role involves patrolling manufacturing and industrial locations, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and ensuring documentation is accurate. Minimum requirements cover age, education, background check, and drug screening; licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking locations, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry, exit, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe conditions that may impact facility operations or present security-related concerns and report findings to site leadership.
