Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for unarmed patrols at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor designated areas, deter security incidents, and assist employees and visitors with professional, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Background investigation will be conducted in line with laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing location by following security procedures and emergency plans.
Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor/contractor entry per site requirements.
Respond to incidents, document observations, and notify site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift communications professionally.
