Job summary

Catholic Charities is seeking a part-time Security Guard to protect employees, clients, and visitors at our Rochester site. The role includes patrolling, access control, responding to incidents, and coordinating with emergency responders as needed.

Qualifications include an Associate degree (preferred) and at least two years of security experience. NYS Security Guard Registration is required, with a valid NY driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Credentials: NY State Security Guard Registration required; NYS driver's license preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years as a security guard.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.
• Patrol assigned areas to protect clients, visitors, property and equipment.
• Control and monitor access ingress/egress and monitor burglar and fire alarm systems.
• Provide back-up to receptionist and assist with inquiries.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
