Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Clinical Decision Unit (ED Hold) with night shifts from 7pm to 7am. The role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, including rapid assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team.

Eligible candidates may receive up to $20K in student loan contributions and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and document management.
• Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
