Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department, full-time on the midshift (11am–11pm). The RN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, coordinating with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state or compact is required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and policies.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on condition, treatment plan, and discharge care.
• Maintains infection control practices and uses medical equipment safely.
