Job summary

AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a Part-time Phlebotomy Technician to perform venipuncture, collect samples, and ensure proper labeling and timely processing in the laboratory.

You will support daily workflow, handle hazardous waste transport, and uphold safety policies with training provided; High School diploma required and BLS preferred; night shift schedule; benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required].
• Phlebotomy training preferred; required for certain positions.
• Able to read, write and speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Transports hazardous waste to designated storage area.
• Performs venipuncture and microtainer collections accurately.
• Label specimens correctly and ensure proper orders.
• Support daily workflow and problem resolution in the lab.
• Follow PPE, handwashing, and chemical handling policies.
