Job summary

Keystone Bluffs in Duluth, MN seeks a part-time Nursing Assistant (TMA) for 10:00pm-6:00am shifts on a rotating weekend schedule. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support residents under the care of the DON. Requires MN CNA license and valid medication administration training; lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior TMA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes through a Minnesota postsecondary educational institution.
• Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older; exception for under 18 with a valid CNA license.
• Previous experience as a TMA is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to the facility’s medication policy.
• Record and restock medication inventories, and process discontinued medication as directed by DON.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
• Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc. in a descriptive manner, and submit them as necessary.
• Report errors in the administration of medications.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Assist with caring for residents when needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.
