Job summary

Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living in Duluth, MN is seeking a part-time Medication Aide for the overnight shift (10:00pm–6:00am) on a rotating weekend schedule. Pay ranges $18.00–$20.00 hourly, with potential shift differentials based on experience and licensure.

Responsibilities include administering medications per policy, restocking inventories, measuring vital signs, observing residents, completing forms, and following a care plan.

Qualifications

• Completion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel.
• Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to the facility’s medication policy.
• Record and restock medication inventories, and process discontinued medication as directed by DON.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
• Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc. in a descriptive manner, and submit them as necessary
• Report errors in the administration of medications
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Assist with caring for residents when needed
• Perform other duties as requested
