Job summary

Saratoga Retirement Community in Saratoga, CA is seeking dedicated Nursing Assistants to join our upscale 5-star skilled nursing team. You will provide compassionate direct care, assist with ADLs, document resident status, and support a safe, clean, and engaging environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid CNA/NAR/HCA license, CPR/First Aid certification, and ability to communicate in English. Pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training.
• Must have a current CNA/NAR/HCA license in good standing.
• Must have current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must be able to read/write/speak sufficiently in English to perform responsibilities.
• Background check, drug test, and may require fingerprint, physical, and TB test per state/local guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow residents' ADL directives.
• Document daily chart notes and report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with bathing, hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist in serving meals and participate in activities.
• Maintain clean work areas and safe environment at all times.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents.
