Job summary

Saratoga Retirement Community is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our upscale 94-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Saratoga, CA. You will help residents with ADLs, meals, and mobility, while documenting observations and assisting the care team.

We offer a part-time AM/PM shift; CNA/NAR/HCA license is required, with CPR/First Aid certification. English proficiency and successful pre-employment checks are expected for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training.
• Current CNA/NAR/HCA license in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• English reading/writing/speaking sufficient for duties.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow residents' ADL directives and document changes.
• Chart daily notes on residents’ conditions and report to supervisor.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and dressing.
• Assist in serving meals and accompany residents in activities.
• Record vital signs and assist with transfers and ambulation.
• Ensure safe, clean rooms and respond to calls promptly.
• Support admissions and discharges and participate in care plans.
