Primary Responsibilities:
- Review guaranteed arrivals and verify credit card validity.
- Ensure rooms are listed as dirty for housekeeping.
- Explain check-in procedures and amenities to guests.
- Document new commercial customer check-ins.
- Coordinate maintenance for blocked rooms.
- Ensure availability of rollaway beds and cribs.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints.
- Offer alternatives if guest demands cannot be met.
- Assist in other hotel areas as needed.
- Document guest accidents and complaints.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Previous hospitality and customer service experience preferred.
- Experience with cash and credit procedures.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of hotel amenities, procedures, and local area.
