Job summary

Curry College in Milton, MA is seeking an Assistant Tennis Coach (PT) under the direction of the Head Coach. You will contribute to developing a Division III tennis program in accordance with NCAA and conference rules. The role focuses mainly on coaching and teaching (80%) with some recruiting and administrative duties (20%).

Occasional travel, evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Qualifications include a BA/BS, 1–2 years coaching experience, knowledge of rules, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college.
• One to two years of Tennis coaching experience at club, high school or college level.
• Experience in coaching fundamentals, tactics, and strategies with ability to recruit players.
• Knowledge of NCAA/Conference rules and eligibility.
• Ability to travel.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• On-court coaching during practices and matches.
• Assist Head Coach with recruiting, events, and travel.
• Drive van when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned and be ready to assume Head Coach duties if needed.
