Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience.
• 3+ excellent, verifiable references (these cannot be from family and or friends).
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to start date).
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Non-Smoker.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for children ranging from newborn to toddler, including feeding, diapering, naps, and interactive play.
• Engage in developmentally appropriate activities to support growth and learning.
• Maintain a calm and positive presence that aligns with the family's gentle approach to parenting.
• Keep the play area and common spaces tidy, cleaning up after playtime and meals.
• During nap times, assist with baby-related tasks such as sanitizing bottles, cleaning baby dishes, tidying the play area, and doing/putting away the baby's laundry.
• Communicate openly with parents and be receptive to feedback.
• Practice safe hygiene, including consistent handwashing.
• Comfortable spending time in the home's lanai or outdoor area; neighborhood walks may be introduced once trust is established.
• Work respectfully alongside work-from-home parents and maintain professionalism.
• Health-conscious and attentive to children's symptoms or behavioral changes
• Comfortable around dogs and cats (no pet care beyond letting a dog out occasionally)
• Willing to commit long-term

These are long-term positions and short-term positions, and families are looking for a nanny who can offer stability and commit through key early childhood stages.

Schedule Examples

• Monday – Friday: 9 AM - 2 PM
• Monday - Friday: 4 PM - 8 PM
• Monday - Friday: 1 PM - 5 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9 AM - 4 PM
• 2-3 Days a week, 10- 14-hour shifts

Compensation

$19 - $23 hourly
