Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants and young children.
• Support early milestones through tummy time, sensory play, reading, and structured activities.
• Maintain feeding and nap routines based on each child’s cues and schedule.
• Prepare bottles and sanitize feeding equipment; assist with solids when age-appropriate.
• Keep children upright after feedings and monitor overall well-being.
• Engage children with crafts, reading, outdoor activities, and creative play without screens.
• Tidy up play areas, children's laundry, and related spaces.
• Provide light household support related to the children (e.g., kitchen cleanup, dishwasher unloading).
• Occasional local errands related to the children or family needs.
• Communicate clearly with parents about routines, activities, and any health concerns.

Families are seeking hands-on, nurturing nannies/ house managers to provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants and young children in a home setting. Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills are essential for these roles, as families value consistency, reliability, and open communication. The ideal nanny will have strong experience with newborns and young children and be knowledgeable about early developmental milestones, routines, and age-appropriate engagement. These are long-term positions, and families are looking for a nanny who can offer stability and commit through key early childhood stages.

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 7 AM – 3 PM/ 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants and young children
• Supporting early milestones such as tummy time, sensory play, reading, and structured activities
• Maintaining feeding and nap routines based on each child's cues and schedule
• Preparing bottles, sanitizing feeding equipment, and assisting with transitions such as solids when age-appropriate
• Keeping children upright after feedings when needed and monitoring overall well-being
• Engaging children without screen time through crafts, reading, outdoor walks, and creative play
• Children's laundry, tidying play areas and nurseries, and keeping child-related spaces organized
• Light household support related to the children (e.g., kitchen cleanup after meals, dishwasher unloading when applicable)
• Occasional local errands related to the children or family needs
• Communicating clearly with parents regarding routines, activities, and any health-related concerns

Ideal Candidate:

• Has hands-on experience with infants and young children
• Is energetic, dependable, and proactive in planning activities
• Comfortable working in homes where parents may be present
• Health-conscious and attentive to children’s symptoms or behavioral changes
• Willing to commit long-term

Agency Requirements:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• 3 or more excellent, verifiable references (these cannot be from family and or friends)
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before start date)
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Non-Smoker

Compensation

Compensation: $22 - $24 hourly
