Job summary

Refresh Psychotherapy, a female autistic-owned private practice in South Slope, Brooklyn, seeks a part-time Muslim-affirming psychotherapist for teens and adults. In-person and virtual care are offered; diverse client base with insurance-based payment.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field (social work, counseling, therapy, or arts therapy).
• Experience delivering culturally responsive, Muslim-affirming psychotherapy.
• Clinical supervision experience or eligibility for licensure requirements in NYS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct at least 18 weekly sessions (53–60 minutes).
• Attend mandatory weekly supervision (1:1 or group).
• Maintain treatment records and reports; assess and plan treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Engage with practice’s social media channels as required.
