Job summary

Refresh Psychotherapy is a Female Autistic-owned private practice in South Slope, Brooklyn, serving New Yorkers with in-person and virtual care. This role focuses on providing psychotherapy to adolescents (13+) and growing teen-focused services within a diverse clinical team.

The clinician will diagnose, formulate treatment plans, and maintain boundaries while collaborating with parents and schools. Weekend in-person work is required, with weekday virtual sessions available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Creative Arts Therapy.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) is required.
• Prior experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person psychotherapy to teens aged 13 and up on Saturdays and Sundays at the South Slope, Brooklyn office.
• Provide virtual psychotherapy to teen clients during the week.
• Participate in mandatory weekly 1:1 supervision and/or group supervision.
• Assess clients through interviews, observations, and assessments; develop and implement treatment plans.

Education
