Job summary

Rise Psychology NYC in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide individual psychotherapy to adults and adolescents in a culturally responsive, identity-conscious practice guided by social justice values.

The role includes intake assessments, treatment planning, psychological testing as appropriate, and collaboration with clinicians. On-site in Brooklyn with potential evening/weekend sessions.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current New York State license as a Psychologist, or license eligibility with a clear timeline for completion.
• Strong foundation in Psychology and Counseling Psychology, with the ability to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based psychotherapy.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small group practice setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to social justice, inclusion, and working with BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQ+, and first-generation communities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual psychotherapy to adults and/or adolescents.
• Administer and interpret psychological tests as appropriate.
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation and collaborate with other clinicians.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in case consultations.
