Job summary

Ole Red in Nashville is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. You will deliver friendly, guest-centered service, assist guests, process transactions, and help maintain inviting merch displays in a lively venue atmosphere.

You'll share your passion for music heritage, upsell products, and collaborate with venue staff to create memorable guest experiences while working peak hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years experience in guest service, sales, and/or cash handling.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to all guests.
• Provide confident and friendly guidance to guests visiting our retail space.
• Support sales programs and help increase average transaction value and units per transaction.
• Merchandise the sales floor to stay visually enticing.
• Understand current product collections and upsell based on guest interests.
• Process sales transactions using POS system and handle cash according to procedures.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Follow safety and security policies and report issues.
• Process daily shipments and receive/unload boxes.
• Collaborate with tour guides to create souvenir photos and display for sale.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
