Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a part-time voice or voice and piano instructor to teach at Music House School of Music in Lenexa and Overland Park, KS. In-person lessons are offered, with classes primarily on Monday and Thursday evenings between 3-9pm.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in music education or performance, at least 1 year of teaching, strong communication, and reliability. Pay is $24-$28/hour with health benefits options and a 401(k) after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music education or performance preferred.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience.
• Group teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach private lessons in a way that builds on the student’s strengths and interests.
• Lead group classes through the Music House curriculum.
• Attend monthly faculty meetings and assist with community events.
• Communicate with parents, fellow teachers, and staff and track attendance.
