Job summary

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) seeks a Warehouse Associate to support the store operations, restock shelves, assist customers, and process orders. This is a part-time, temporary position onsite at our San Francisco location.

You will work under Warehouse Operations Manager, handle inventory with a computer system, and collaborate with sales and buying teams while delivering a positive museum experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in retail or warehouse.
• Familiarity with inventory software and store systems.
• Comfort using a radio/walkie for communication.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Replenish the sales floor multiple times daily per guidance.
• Label, roll posters, markdowns, and prepare merchandise.
• Keep store and warehouse neat; organize back stock and shelves.
• Assist with inventory counts and end-of-year processes.
• Help customers and facilitate in-store pickup and online orders.
