Job summary

The Museum of Life and Science in Durham, NC is seeking a Part-Time Retail Operations Associate to assist customers and support daily retail tasks. Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for customer service and guest experience.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, credit, and gift cards.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and point-of-sale operations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to guests in the retail area.
• Communicate product information and maintain knowledge of current lines.
• Open/close procedures, inventory, cash register duties, and safety compliance.
• Support coffee bar operations when needed.
• Assist Retail Operations leadership with store operations and merchandising.
