UC Irvine Langson Orange County Museum of Art is seeking a part-time Engagement Guide to greet visitors and guide conversations around artists and exhibitions. You will highlight museum programs, tours and events, and ensure a welcoming experience at the front desk and in galleries.

Under supervision, you will participate in trainings on visitor engagement and artwork safety, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and good time management.
• Hospitality and customer service principles to create welcoming experiences.
• Interest in art, art history, and museum exhibitions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors at the front desk and in galleries, fostering a warm welcome.
• Facilitate conversations about current artists and exhibitions; highlight programs and events.
