Responsibilities

• Initiate visitor engagement and assist guests at all points of the journey.
• Facilitate exhibit explorations and demonstrations for inquiry-based learning.
• Support field trips and programs linking students, teachers, visitors with learning experiences.
• Provide excellent guest service and meet or exceed service targets.
• Assist guests with accessibility needs throughout the museum.
• Prepare the museum for daily operations and maintain assigned spaces.
• Know the museum well and communicate information to guests effectively.
• Handle ticketing, retail and membership sales according to policies.
• Answer information requests by phone, email or in person; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments to keep areas functional and safe.
• Participate in professional development and trainings.
• Perform additional duties as required.
