Job summary

Katmai seeks role players to train U.S. Marines in realistic cultural scenarios on military bases. The position requires staying in character, following safety rules, and delivering convincing portrayals of assigned cultures.

You will participate in weapons handling training, endure long shifts, and travel to training sites up to 10%. Requires passing background checks and U.S. work authorization. Part-time on-call role with in-person work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to gain and maintain access to US military installations.
• Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Role players shall be physically capable of performing their assigned work.
• Fluent in English and targeted language.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to military training standards and stay in role during training missions.
• Participate in weapons handling and operation training when required.
• Perform in urban/mounted operations training; may be exposed to blank-firing weapons.
• Die in place or be captured in simulated firefights as required.
• Integrate into scenarios using equipment and vehicles across diverse training situations.
• Maintain professional communication with co-workers and military personnel.
• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate safety equipment.
