Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs seeks a part-time administrator for the Master of Science in Healthcare Management (MSHM) program in Bloomington, IN. The role coordinates day-to-day operations, practicum partnerships, alumni data, and accreditation activities while developing AI-enabled administrative solutions to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the MSHM program.
  • Coordinate practicum partnerships and student placements.
  • Manage alumni and career outcomes data, reporting, and engagement.
  • Support CAHME accreditation, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement AI-enabled administrative solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain program data and prepare dashboards, reports, and analyses.
  • Communicate effectively and operate standard office productivity equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the day-to-day operations of the Master of Science in Healthcare Management (MSHM) program, including coordinating activities, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining program documentation.
  • Coordinate practicum partnerships and student placements by maintaining relationships with employer partners, preceptors, and practicum organizations.
  • Manages alumni and career outcomes data, including employment tracking, reporting, and alumni engagement activities.
  • Support Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management (CAHME) accreditation, assessment, and continuous quality improvement initiatives through data collection, reporting, and documentation management.
  • Develops and implements AI-enabled administrative solutions to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce manual processes.
  • Maintains program data and prepares dashboards, reports, and analyses to support program leadership and decision-making.
  • This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Preferred: Master’s degree in relevant field.

Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.

Work Experience

Required: 2 years of professional experience in program administration, operations, project coordination, higher education, business operations, or a related field.

  • Capacity for building and utilizing AI agents, chatbots, and no-code/low-code automation platforms.
  • Proficient in evaluating and implementing technology solutions that improve efficiency and delivery.
