Job summary

Indiana University’s O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Bloomington is seeking a part-time Program Administrator to support the Master of Science in Healthcare Management (MSHM) program. The role focuses on coordinating activities, tracking deadlines, and maintaining program documentation.

You will build practicum partnerships, manage alumni data, support CAHME accreditation, and develop AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 years of professional experience in program administration or related field.
  • Ability to organize multiple and competing responsibilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other business/educational software platforms.
  • Experience with CRM and database systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports day-to-day operations of the MSHM program, coordinating activities and deadlines.
  • Manages practicum partnerships and student placements with employer partners.
  • Maintains alumni and career outcomes data and reporting.
  • Supports CAHME accreditation through data collection and documentation.
  • Develops AI-enabled administrative solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Prepares dashboards, reports, and analyses for leadership decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the day-to-day operations of the Master of Science in Healthcare Management (MSHM) program, including coordinating activities, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining program documentation.
  • Coordinate practicum partnerships and student placements by maintaining relationships with employer partners, preceptors, and practicum organizations.
  • Manages alumni and career outcomes data, including employment tracking, reporting, and alumni engagement activities.
  • Support Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management (CAHME) accreditation, assessment, and continuous quality improvement initiatives through data collection, reporting, and documentation management.
  • Develops and implements AI-enabled administrative solutions to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce manual processes.
  • Maintains program data and prepare dashboards, reports, and analyses to support program leadership and decision-making.

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

  • Master's degree in relevant field
Work Experience
Required
  • 2 years of professional experience in program administration, operations, project coordination, higher education, business operations, or a related field.

  • Adept in managing sensitive and confidential information.

  • Ability to design and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Aptitude for developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools.
  • Adept at managing CRM, student information, and database systems.
  • Capable of applying AI tools, workflow automation, and prompt engineering to solve administrative challenges.
  • Capacity for building and utilizing AI agents, chatbots, and no-code/low-code automation platforms.
  • Proficient in evaluating and implementing technology solutions that improve efficiency and delivery.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
