The MRI technologist performs routine to complex MRI procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and accurate documentation. ARRT/ARMIT certification and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of a two-year radiology program.
• ARRT or ARMIT certification required.
• MR advanced registration through ARRT/ARMIT within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex MRI procedures and produces diagnostic images.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance during imaging.
• Educates patients and health care staff; contributes to practice improvements.
• Maintains and documents clinical information and orders in patient records.
• Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Assists with supply inventory and imaging center operations.
