Capitol Imaging Services, LLC seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI procedures in an outpatient setting. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with imaging protocols while maintaining accurate records in PACS/RIS.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists and staff. Minimum 1–2 years MRI experience preferred; ARRT MR certification or eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an accredited degree in radiologic technology or higher and be eligible for MR certification.
• Must maintain ARRT MR certification and state licensure as applicable.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and imaging protocols.
• Ability to position patients safely and communicate procedures clearly.

Responsabilités

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images for radiologists.
• Verify patient identity, review exam requisitions, and confirm imaging protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents per physician orders and institutional protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions or discomfort during scans.
• Maintain detailed records in the PACS/RIS system.
• Inspect equipment and report any technical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists for accurate, timely results.
• Engage in continuing education to stay current with imaging technology.
